I am very sorry for your loss. Although I never met Roy, we were friends on the Internet for years - even while I was deployed to Afghanistan. We traded morale patches and shared stories. He was and is a good men! God Bless you all.

Lisa and Gabby, may you draw on all the good memories of Roy and of the stories of his friends and coworkers. May those help to get you through the days and weeks ahead. I know Roy is resting with God now and he will be watching over you from Heaven as he always has on earth. May God comfort you in the best ways possible. I’m so sad to hear of Roy....he was my shift leader, mentor and friend in Grand Forks. I was happy to find him again before this happen and to let him know the positive efffect he had in my life. RIP Sir

I has the pleasure of being stationed with Roy during his time at GFAFB. We were roomies both in the dorms and shared an apartment for 2 years of our time together at Grand Forks. Many great memories of one of the best guys I served with. Best wishes and prayers to Lisa and Gabby. Miss you Roy, may you Rest In Peace.

Roy was my Air Force brother, as Thom mentioned, we were all part of the ER family at Grand Forks AFB. He was funny, compassionate, and a good friend. I'll miss him very much. I had the pleasure of being stationed and working with Roy in the ER st GFAFB HOSPITAL in 1980's. Roy was a very loved man by all, a great teacher and just an overall amazing person. To Lisa and Gabrielle...you are and will always be a part of our very close knit AF family. If you need anything, you can count on us all. This is how we are...we have each others back always even at a distance. God Bless you and know that Roy is at peace now.
